Aluminium Top Caps are an optional upgrade for the bars and hips which we always recommend when choosing darker colours due to possible warping on PVC top caps during hotter temperatures in the summer.

Vents
Partnered with Molan UK for over 10 years we can have vents made to order to suit your glazed roofs. Pre-Welded UPVC bases, and aluminium lid sections ensure they are of highest quality. They can be glazed with 24mm Glass or Poly and 32mm Poly making them perfect for our glazed roof system.
Manual – Manually opened and close via a winder pole.
Electric – Electrically operated via a rocker switch.
Climate Control – Will electrically open and close to the vents to maintain a preset temperature or close when rain is detected.
To install a vent into a Skypod Lantern the minimum Skypod size is 2000mm x 3000mm

Our Skypod Lanterns are delivered as a kit, but we ensure that we carry out as much work as we can before packing. This means that they can be installed within a few hours by experienced fitting teams (providing flat roofs are already built and prepped ready for Skypod installation).
Different builders will use different kerb sizes/widths so using external kerb sizes (as shown on the Skypod Eaves PDF located in the download tab/page) means the Skypods will fit no matter the kerb used by the builders.
Although the Skypod Lantern system is not a full aluminium roof lantern we can upgrade the spar top caps to aluminium. This would mean there are still a couple of PVC components used but not easily noticeable.
Yes, having vents in your Skypod Lantern is possible but due to the sizes it would not be possible on if Skypods are smaller than 2m X 3m.
